LITTLE PENGUINS                                                     

near Low Head Tasmania

 Little Penguins are the smallest penguin species in the world. Only 30cm tall and 1.1kg

They are flightless seabirds who breed in colonies along the southern coast of Australia, with colonies at many locations around the Tasmanian coast , including Low Head at the entry to the Tamar River.
